eBay reseller spreadsheet: tracking inventory and profit when you source through an agent

Checked and edited .

Short version: Almost every eBay spreadsheet search is about reselling: inventory, profit, fee and bookkeeping sheets. If you source through agents, add the columns most templates miss, from exchange rate and agent fee to the EU's €3 per-category duty. Unbranded stock from our 10,000+ real-photo finds is the only kind that resells without legal risk.

What people actually search about eBay spreadsheets

Almost every eBay "spreadsheet" search is about selling: reseller, inventory, profit, flipping, fee and bookkeeping sheets. That is the honest angle for this site: people who source through agents or 1688 and resell on eBay need a sheet that captures the agent-side costs most templates ignore.

Columns an agent-sourcing reseller needs

Beyond the usual eBay columns (listing price, eBay fees, postage to buyer), add: item cost in yuan and the exchange rate used, agent fee, your share of international shipping (by weight), import VAT and duty (including the EU's €3 per category since July 2026), and any QC or packing extras. Without these, profit looks higher than it is.

Inventory and flipping sheets

"Ebay inventory spreadsheet" and "ebay flipping spreadsheet" searches want stock tracking: date bought, date listed, date sold, days to sell. For agent stock, add the parcel it arrived in, so you can allocate shipping and spot slow sellers.

Legal limits for resellers

Reselling goods that copy a trademark is a commercial infringement in the US, UK and EU, treated far more harshly than a personal purchase, and eBay removes such listings and suspends accounts. In Italy the fine for non-final buyers starts at €20,000. Unbranded goods are the only safe stock.

Fee and bookkeeping sheets

"Ebay fee spreadsheet", "ebay bookkeeping spreadsheet" and "ebay spreadsheet template free" come from sellers who need tax-ready records. If you import stock through an agent, keep the agent invoices, shipping receipts and customs payments with each batch; in most countries these are deductible business costs, and they explain your margins if a tax office asks.

Track returns too. eBay buyers can return items more easily than agent buyers can, so a reseller carries return risk that never appears in a simple profit column.

Where Mulebuy and agents fit in

eBay sells to buyers abroad directly, so you do not need Mulebuy or any other agent, and Mulebuy's August 2026 problems do not touch eBay orders. Some agents can buy from eBay for you, but that adds fees and removes eBay's own buyer protection. The only time an agent route makes sense is when you are already shipping a Taobao or Weidian haul and want one parcel; even then, compare totals.

If an old Mulebuy spreadsheet mixed eBay links with Taobao and Weidian rows, open the eBay rows on eBay itself and convert the rest with the link converter.

For one or two items, eBay direct is usually simpler. For a large mixed haul, an agent can be cheaper, provided the agent is shipping normally.

Taxes for EU and Italian buyers

Every eBay parcel entering the EU now pays €3 for each item category if it is worth up to €150, plus VAT on goods, shipping and duty (22% in Italy); eBay usually collects both at checkout, so check the total before paying. Use the import duty calculator for exact figures.

Keeping your own eBay list

Creator lists for eBay change and disappear, so keep your own copy of anything you plan to buy: the eBay link, the price and date you saw, the size you chose and the seller. When a list goes offline, your copy still works, and you can compare prices if the item reappears elsewhere.

Checks before any eBay order

  • Check the seller: rating, order count and recent reviews with photos.
  • Read the size chart in centimetres and compare with a garment you own.
  • Pay inside the platform or per order so a dispute stays possible.
  • Avoid branded copies: customs can seize them, and Italy fines buyers €100 to €7,000.

eBay is one of 12 marketplaces on the spreadsheets hub, next to every agent we track.

Questions readers ask

Do I need an agent for eBay?

No. eBay sells and ships to foreign buyers directly.

Can I use Mulebuy for eBay now?

For eBay orders we would not: since mid-August 2026 Mulebuy buyers report stuck orders and unanswered support.

Where do these eBay searches come from?

From Google autocomplete suggestions for eBay collected in the US, Italy and France on 4 October 2026.

Does the EU €3 duty apply to eBay orders?

Yes. A eBay parcel worth up to €150 entering the EU pays €3 per item category since 1 July 2026, plus VAT.
